Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival Returns To Dutchess The Hudson Valley will be full of hot air balloons this weekend.The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival from Friday, July 7 to Sunday, July 9 with more than 80 launches between Friday and Sunday. The festival will be held at Barton Orchards at 63 Apple Tree Lane in Poughquag. Activities include a petting zoo, hayrides, food trucks and vendors, a tap room, bakery and farmer’s market, fire pits, ball toss, and live music. At the Chappaqua Farmer's Market Saturday, the Blum sisters, 12-year-old Rebecca and 9-year-old Jenna, will be selling lemonade for Alex's Lemonade Stand, which raises money to fight childhood cancer. This is the fourth year the sisters are running a lemonade stand. Through online donations, they've already raised $1,167 as of Friday morning.
