"There's a strange man on this bus," was the terrifying message that Bensalem parents received from their children heading to school on Friday, Nov. 4. A Bethlehem high school closed early on Friday, Nov. 4 after multiple students and staff reported feeling unwell, according to administrators. Bomb Threat Clears Chester County High School
Students were sent home early from a Chester County high school Thursday, Nov. 3 after administrators received a bomb threat, according to authorities. Kennett High School in Kennett Square Township received the warning at about 9:30 a.m., officials said. School staff evacuated students while township and county police swept the building with K9 units, they added. Two Penn State Altoona students have been arrested in connection to threats they made on social media, authorities say. A Lehigh County high school canceled classes on Friday, Oct. 28 after administrators received a violent threat. Lehigh Career and Technical Institute in Schnecksville alerted police after receiving "a threat directed at the school," administrators said in a message on the school's website. Allentown School District may soon begin the search for a new superintendent, according to a report by WFMZ. The board is expected to vote on whether to fire Superintendent John Stanford, who assumed office less than a year ago, the outlet reports.
