  • A team from Ossining High School was selected to compete in the 2013 Hudson Valley Regional Envirothon later this month. The five-member team of students work together to compete on environmental topics and give a five minute oral presentation on a problem solving scenario related to the year's current issue topic.
  • Ossining’s Michele Lawton is running the Boston Marathon Monday to raise money for The New England Center for Children, where her 23-year-old autistic son, Jack, resided for 14 years before graduating two years ago.
  • Claremont School principal Carmen Soto has resigned as of the end of the school year, Ossining Superintendent Ray Sanchez told parents. Soto intends to resign as of June 30.
