Ossining School Budget Vote Set For May 19

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Ossining residents will have the opportunity to vote on 2015-16 school budget Tuesday. 

The proposed $117.2 million budget would keep the district under the state-mandated property tax levy cap for the fourth consecutive year. 

Capital improvements in the proposed budget would include:

  • Roof repairs at Park School.
  • Other necessary improvements to Roosevelt School.
  • Second phase of security system upgrades.

Voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Ossining High School gymnasium.
