Catherine Siciliano, 83, Lifelong Ossining Resident

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Catherine L. Siciliano, a lifelong resident of Ossining, died on Sunday, Nov. 29. She was 83.

Siciliano was born in Ossining on Dec. 7, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Viola (Gioio) Lobus. 

Siciliano was a former school secretary at both St. Augustine’s and St. Theresa’s Parochial Schools. She was also a former secretary at Sing Sing Prison and a member of St. Ann’s Church.

Siciliano is survived by her daughters Anne Zimmerman (Gary) and Valerie Doyle (David); two sisters Mimi Robinson (David) and Gail Fiero (George); four grandchildren Ryan and Colin Zimmerman, Christopher and Jonathon Doyle; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Peter and her sister Rose Stephens.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Dorsey. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 25 Eastern Ave., Ossining. The interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery in Ossining.
