OSSINING, N.Y. - Alice Catherine (Wood) Sanborn, a lifelong resident of Ossining, died Dec. 3. She was 99.
Sanborn was born June 5, 1915, in Ossining, to Henry Judd and Ethel Grace (McQuilken) Wood. She graduated from Ossining High School in 1933. She was married to Philip Emerson Sanborn. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Ossining.
Sanborn is survived by her daughter, Judith Wood Sanborn Cote (Wilfred III); three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Leach and Thomas Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow.
