Rabies Warning Issued In Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. --  The Westchester County Health Department issued a rabies warning to residents of Ossining on Friday.

The Health Department reports that a resident found a multi-colored stray cat on James Street on Tuesday and turned it in to a local shelter.  The cat was then tested positive for rabies. 

Anyone who came into contact with the cat or who wants more information should contact the county health department at 914-813-5010 or visit its website.
