OSSINING, N.Y. -- Together with the Ossining Historic Cemetery Conservancy, Senator David Carlucci announced the approval of a $20,000 grant he was able to secure that will create the Dale Cemetery Heritage Trail in Ossining.

Photo Credit: Contributed photoThe trail will include 25 historical markers to educate visitors on the historic significance of individuals buried throughout the cemetery.
The first marker was unveiled last week at the grave of John T. Hoffman, Ossining resident and the 78th Mayor of New York City and 23rd Governor of New York.
