It's 'Turkey Time' At Teatown In Advance Of Holiday

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Teatown Lake Reservation is providing the opportunity to discover a little more about the stars of Thanksgiving dinner, before their big day.

Teatown Lake Reservation will be giving a presentation about turkeys on Sunday.

On Sunday, from 11 a.m.-noon, the reservation, located at 1600 Spring Valley Road, will be hosting “Turkey Time Sunday.”

Crafts, stories and a short hike to learn about the birds’ natural history will be included in the event.

Advance registration is required.

Cost is $7 per person; Teatown members get in free.
