Con Ed recently tested and activated the gas main installation between NYSDOT's Route 9A bridge and the Todd Lane Bridge over the Pocantico. This work enables Con Ed to work on individual service connections and plate removal.
Library and Community Center:
Science of Sports will for kindergartners to fifth graders with caregivers will illustrate scientific concepts as they relate to sports on Tuesday, July 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Registration is not required.
Ninja Storytime Party for 2 and a half to 6 year olds will take place Thursday, July 14 from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Registration is not required.
Word Games Group meets Tuesdays, July 12, 26 and Aug. 9 from 5:15 to 6 p.m. for fourth graders and above. Games include giant Boggle, word puzzlers/secret codes, group hangman, poetry games and more. To register, contact Amy Kaplan at 914-941-7072 or abgkaplan@gmail.com.
Make it Mondays now meets from 4-5 p.m. for 6-9 year olds through Aug. 15. Children ages 10 to 12 can be helpers/participants and make something different every meeting. Recreation and Parks:
Weekday pool hours are now 12:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pool permits are required.
The Youth Center Basketball Court is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and is available for public play when not in use by Youth Center members. Wheeled equipment is not permitted on the court's surface.
The next Board of Trustees Work Session and Meeting will take place Wednesday, July 20 at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively, in Village Hall.
