Offered with the Ossining School District Community Partnership Program, the first program is PSAT Boot Camp, a one-day, 3-hour workshop for students. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday or Sunday at the Ossining library, 53 Croton Ave.
The PSAT Boot Camp will include new PSAT test strategies, intense timing and practice testing. Tuition for the class is $150 and a limited number of scholarships may be available for certain applicants.
The second series offered by Eduscape Associates is titled Parent University: Navigating the College Process and will consist of free college planning workshops at the Briarcliff Manor Library.
The first workshop, “Ready..Set..Go..” will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 20 at the library, 1 Library Road, Briarcliff Manor. Topics covered include exploring careers, making transcrips appealing, selecting courses, college planning and more.
The second workshop offered “Paperwork…Get on It” will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. November 5 at the Briarcliff library. Topics for this program include writing an outstanding college essay, creating an excellent resume, understanding the application process, and more.
