Rye ranks sixth in Class A, and Yorktown Heights ranks 12th. In Class C, Rye Neck ranks fifth, Bronxville is 12th and Dobbs Ferry is 16th. Archbishop Stepinac in White Plains ranks second in the Catholic rankings, and Iona Prep ranks third. Stepniac is ranked No. 6 in the state.
Rye opened its season with 27-20 win over Lakeland while Yorktown Heights blitzed Eastchester, 33-6. Rye Neck opened with a 26-0 win over Haldane, Dobbs Ferry beat Yonkers Montessori 42-28 and Bronxville beat Blind Brook, 38-14. Dobbs Ferry and Bronxville meet Saturday in Dobbs Ferry at 2 p.m.
Stepinac opened its season with a 42-7 win over Mansfield, and Iona Prep beat Newburgh Free Academy, 27-14.
