The team, coached for the last 25 by Head Coach Dan Ricci, finished this season with a 28-2 record and won their first ever New York State Federation Championship Title, beating Long Island Lutheran High School 64-54. The Pride also won their fourth consecutive Class AA championship, beating Shenendehowa High School 69-66.

Following the season, Coach Ricci was awarded the Journal News’ Westchester/Putnam coach of the year for the second straight year, as well as coach of the year by USA Today High School Sports. The team also received a tour of the State Capitol building and were recognized with an official Senate Resolution honoring their achievement and sportsmanship.

“From the opening game of the season to the federation championship, this team exemplified the qualities we want to see in our student athletes. On and off the court, they strive for excellence and I couldn’t be prouder of their victories as well as the positive impact they have had on the Ossining community. I commend all the members of the team, as well as the coaching staff for their achievements and look forward to next season,” said Carlucci
