WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Only four teams remain in the Section 1 Class AA girls' basketball playoffs as the semifinals take place Thursday at the Westchester County Center.

Second-seeded Our Lady of Lourdes will face No. 6 New Rochelle in the first semifinal game at 3 p.m. Lourdes edged No. 7 Clarkstown South, 45-40, in the quarterfinals to reach the County Center, while the Huguenots beat No. 3 John Jay-East Fishkill, 63-55.

Ossining is the top seed in the tournament and the top-ranked team in the state in Class AA in the latest New York State Sportswriters Association rankings. The Pride blew out Scarsdale, 94-49, in the quarterfinals to set up a game against No. 5 Ursuline in the semifinals at 4:45 p.m.. The Koalas beat No. 5 Arlington, 56-51, in the previous round.

The winners of the two semifinal games will play for the section championship at 2 p.m. March 3.
