OSSINING, N.Y. – Ossining’s Trent Lofaro (220 pounds), Greg Lamb (170) and Leo McCarthy (182) all went 2-1 and placed second at the MacArthur Wrestling Tournament Saturday.
Michael Carnivale (113) had a 3-1 record and finished third and Alex Dago (285) was 2-2 to place fourth.
“For the first action of the year, I feel our team’s conditioning is ahead of last year,” Ossining coach Larry McRae said. “Greg and Leo both came from behind in their semi-final matches to pull off victories in the closing seconds. “Trent wrestled really well in a tough final’s match against Richard Sisti of Monsignor Farrell, who was a 2012 state qualifier.”
