Lakeland improved to 10-3 on the season after posting a 16-1 victory.

But Pride coach Jesse Nunes said the team is doing some good things.

"We've got a really nice defensive team here," he said. "And they're working hard."

Alyssa Aurora took the loss on the mound for Ossining, which fell to 1-12. Amber Badillo had a grand-slam and a solo homer for Lakeland.
