On the mound, Armstrong gave up five runs, three of them earned, on four hits and struck out eight. He also walked four batters. At the plate, Armstrong was 1-for-2 with one run, one RBI and three walks. He also stole home.

Ossining scored twice in each of the first two innings to jump out to a 4-0 lead, but the Trojans responded with three runs in the bottom of the third and two in the fourth to take the lead.

The Pride scratched across a run in the top of the seventh to tie the game and scored the only run in the eighth inning to earn the win.
