OSSINING, N.Y. - The Ossining High School girls basketball team completed its season Saturday with a 76-60 loss to Bishop Ford of Brooklyn in the New York State Federation Tournament championship game in Albany.

The Pride represented the New York State Public Schools in the all-inclusive Federation Tournament that invites the champions of the Catholic High School Athletic Association and New York City Public Schools to compete for the overall title.

Saniya Chong finished her record-breaking career at Ossining with 26 points and will head to the University of Connecticut in the fall to play for the powerhouse Lady Huskies.

Ossining, which won its first New York Public School title last week, was ranked No. 1 overall in the state. Catholic High Schools Athletic Association champion Bishop Ford was ranked No. 3 before the game.

The Pride trailed 18-13 after one quarter and closed the deficit to 40-38 at halftime before Bishop Ford extended its lead to 60-46 after three quarters.
