OSSINING, N.Y. -- Former Ossining High standout Justin Davidov has had two impressive early-season games with the Gettysburgh College football team.

The Bullets (1-1) beat Ursinus on Saturday, 42-17, and Davidov played a major role. He rushed seven times for 38 yards and a touchdown, and also completed 5-of-10 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns.

Davidov also had a big game against Bridgewater in Gettysburg’s opening game, a 38-22 setback. He rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown, and completed 12-of-17 passes for a score.

Through two games, Davidov is Gettysburg’s leading rusher with 135 yards and two touchdowns. He has also thrown for 310 yards and four touchdowns while completing 63 percent of his passes.

Davidov played football, basketball and lacrosse at Ossining, where he was an All-State selection as a senior. He was also a two-time All-Section pick, and the Section One Back of the Year.

Gettysburg finished 7-3 last year and 6-3 in the Centennial Conference. The Bullets are coached by Barry Streeter, who is in his 38th year as head coach. He is the longest tenured head coach in Division III.
