Young Scientist Award Winners From Ossining, Yorktown Visit Regeneron

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Two teenage science research stars got the chance to tour Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Friday.

Lorenzo Muranelli from Ossining High School and Anisha Duvvi from Yorktown High School, got to tour Regeneron and have lunch with President and Chief Scientific Officer George Yancopoulos.

The students are winners of the George Yancopoulos Young Scientist Award, a special award presented at the 2017 Westchester Engineering and Science Fair on March 4. 

The award, sponsored by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, honors two student investigators whose passion for science may lead to the development of novel technologies or biological insights.
