Steven Schwartzapfel graduated from Pace Law School in 1980 and founded his firm, Schwartzapfel Lawyers P.C. in Long Island.

“I am grateful for my Pace Law education and eager to make it possible for others to benefit as I have, said Schwartzapfel. "I think it is important for alums to reach back and help current students."

The scholarship, established with a gift of $25,000, will be awarded annually for five years in the amount of $5,000 per year to a law student who is the child of a union member, or a union member in good standing themselves, and has a 3.0 GPA or higher.

“Steven Schwartzapfel is an exemplary Pace Law School alumnus,"  Yassky said. He achieves excellent results for his clients by representing them with energy, skill and integrity – those are truly the values of Pace Law School put into practice. Steven’s commitment to the Law School and his generosity will benefit our students greatly, and we are very grateful for his ongoing support.”

Schwartzapfel Lawyers P.C. is one of the most prominent and well respected plaintiff personal injury firms in New York, with more than 150 years of combined experience and highly competent co-counsel throughout the country.
