OSSINING, N.Y. -- Sixth-grade girls from Ossining had the opportunity to participate in MasterCard's Girls4Tech program during their technology class.
The program took place Wednesday, Jan. 27.
Girls4Tech is a signature stem program that showcases the areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) through hands on collaborative activities that engage female students and increase their interest in STEM careers.
The activities included working with algorithms, breaking codes using cryptology and learning about digital convergence.
The Ossining girls look forward to collaborating with Girls4Tech again in the spring when they will come back and work with the second semester technology classes.
