Ossining schools were locked out Tuesday morning, preventing anyone from getting in, due to an incident police were investigating in the Village of Ossining.
The incident did not occur at any of the schools, and Ossining police said they were looking for someone following the incident. Police declined to elaborate on what the incident was.
Police said the schools were not placed on lockdown, but on lockout. The lockout was lifted at 10:15 a.m, according to an e-mail sent from police.
"Everything is fine," Dispatcher Jackson of the Ossining police said.
