The district's "Don't Stop Believing" video, put together by Harry Quiroga's high school photography class has gone viral. The video was shot as teachers began returning to school and was uploaded right before school started.
In the video, Superintendent Raymond Sanchez begins by looking for Ossining High School principal Josh Mandel, while Ossining faculty, including coach Dan Ricci proclaim it's going to be the best school year ever.
Sanchez finds Mandel (lifting weights, of course) and they begin to search for other teachers to preach how it's going to be the best school year ever. At one point, while on a school bus, "School's Out" by Alice Cooper comes on the radio.
"School's just starting," Sanchez quips.
The video is filled with 80s nostalgia. Ossining faculty rocks out to "Don't Stop Believing" on a bus and as they enter a school "Don't You Forget About Me" plays.
Ossining High School was recently named "A School Of Opportunity," and the district is implementing "Grab ‘N’ Go Breakfast at the Bell" at the elementary school.
