Meredith Vieira Will Visit Ossining High School Career Workshop

OSSINING, N.Y. -- If you're an Ossining High School student interested in a career in television and broadcasting, the school's guidance department has a program for you.

As part of the department's series of monthly career workshops, journalist, TV personality and game show host Meredith Vieira will be at the school's library at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Vieira was the original moderator of the ABC talk show "The View" (1997–2006) and also co-hosted the NBC morning news program Today (2006–11). She also was the original host of the U.S. syndicated version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," and is set to have her own daytime talk show starting next year.

If you're interested, sign up in the guidance office -- space is limited. The event is sponsored by The Brieant Community Center.
