Ossining school district staff played basketball against the Harlem MagicMasters. More than 50 employees of the Ossining school district turned out to either play basketball or cheerlead for the Ossining team.

During halftime some of the kids were called to the court to play basketball with the MagicMasters.

"Our schools are the heart of our community, and the teachers are the heart of our schools, so it was great to see the community come out to watch them play and to see them give up their free time and bring their families out to participate in a PTA function," said Kerri DiMicelli, Ossining Upper Elementary PTA president.

The PTA sold hot dogs and other snacks during halftime and held a raffle while also selling PTA apparel. The Harlem MagicMasters sold basketballs and signed them during halftime and at the end of the game.

Rorie Caparelli, who is a member of the OUE PTA, coordinating this event, and a large committee of volunteer PTA members supported the event.
