Students and teachers showed up in a variety of hats including cheese blocks, "Cat in the Hat" hats and antennae. Wigs of all colors were seen throughout the school, ranging from pink to multicolored.
"I would estimate that 75 percent of kids and teachers dressed up in crazy hat and hair. This is a great way to celebrate the season, show some school spirit but save the entire costumes for those families who trick or treat. So many of the kids made their own hat/hair creations,” said Principal Kate Mathews.
The students participated in different kinds of events throughout the day including classroom celebrations, a harvest obstacle course in gym class and an afternoon rock concert with the Mike Risko Band.
