A possible grenade was found on the front yard of a home on the Jersey Shore, according to developing and unconfirmed reports.

The incident was reported at about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 28 on Van Court Avenue in Long Branch, initial reports said.

The New Jersey State Police bomb squad was called.
