Rollover Crash Cleared From I-95 Through Norwalk

Update: NORWALK, Conn. -- The accident scene has been cleared from I-95 in Norwalk by Friday afternoon, DOT said.

Original story: NORWALK, Conn. -- A rollover crash is blocking two lanes of I-95 south at Exit 16 for East Avenue in Norwalk on Friday afternoon, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

Traffic is backed up for more than 5 miles to Exit 18 for Sherwood Island in Westport with only one lane open, DOT said. The accident was reported at 1:45 p.m. Friday.

Motorists should expect congestion, stopped traffic and delays of up to 30 minutes in the area, DOT said.
