Somers Library Hosts Exhibit Of Judika Liberman's Art Work

SOMERS, N.Y. -- Somers Library has planned an art exhibit and artist reception featuring Judika Liberman, who will exhibit a selection of her contemporary interpretations of abstracts, floras and pen and ink work during the month of May at the Somers Library.

There will be an artist reception on Saturday, May 2, from 2–4 p.m. in the library. After graduating with a masters of science in studio art from the College of New Rochelle and a bachelor of science in fine arts from Pace University, Lieberman’s career has spanned Government, advertising, publishing and teaching.

In addition to being in private collections, Lieberman’s work has been exhibited in Manhattan at the Jacob Javits Center and the Agora Gallery in Soho.

Locally, her work has been shown at the Hammond Museum, Cutting Board Restaurant, Northern Westchester Hospital and Town & Country Galleries, to name a few. She enjoys sharing her love and knowledge of art when teaching students who share her passion.
