He was born July 11, 1920, in Stamford, to the late Albert and Ernestine Kovacs Williams.
Williams was a retired Howe’s Folding Furniture employee, also working as a school crossing guard after his retirement.
Survivors include two sons, Richard (Barbara) Williams of Gilbert, Ariz., and Albert (Cheryl) Williams Jr. of Norwalk; two daughters, Mary Lou Williams of Norwalk and Kathy Williams Khan of Cheshire; one brother, Joseph (Dot) Williams; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His wife, Gertrude Salter Williams; and one daughter, Rosemarie Valencia, preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
Magner Funeral Home, Norwalk, is handling the arrangements.
