Verplanck Resident Faces Multiples Charges

VERPLANCK, N.Y. – A Verplanck resident was arrested for DWI on Saturday night, and found to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana, according to New York State Police.

Police say Tristan Dankert, 25, of Verplanck, was pulled over for speeding just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday night. Police say an investigation revealed that Dankert was in possession of cocaine and marijuana, and he was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

Dankert was also charged with DWI, speeding, and unlawful possession of marijuana. Dankert was released, and is due in Town of Cortlandt Justice Court on Dec. 2 at 9 a.m.
