What Do You Think? Marist Poll: Majority Question Trump Russia Dealings

Americans are skeptical about President Donald Trump's dealings with Russia, according to a new Marist poll.

The poll found 54 percent of U.S. residents believe the president’s dealings with Russia have been shady. The poll was taken before Trump's son, Donald Trump, Jr. admitted to meeting with a Kremlin-associated lawyer to get damaging information about Hillary Clinton.

According to the poll, 25 percent of Americans think President Trump has done something illegal, while 29 percent believe he has done something unethical. The poll also found 36 percent of Americans think Trump has done nothing wrong while 10 percent are unsure.

The poll also found a partisan divide- Democrats were more likely to think Trump and his campaign did something inappropriate while 73 percent of Republicans believe Trump did nothing wrong and 62 percent think his campaign associates are in the clear.

Trump, who owns the $19 million Seven Springs estate in Bedford, also owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor.

The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
