Three Positions Are Available On Ossining Library Board

OSSINING, N.Y. - Ossining residents interested in serving on the library board have until Monday to file a petition to run.

Three library trustee positions will be voted on next month in Ossining.

Three seats are available on the Board of Trustees. The term for these three seats begins July 1 and expires June 30, 2016.

Petition packets for Board of Trustee candidates are now available. Interested candidates may obtain a petition packet from the Director of the Library, Business Office, 53 Croton Ave., on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. or on Wednesday between 1 and 7 p.m.

The trustee election and budget vote will be held Tuesday, May 21, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Ossining High School gymnasium.

All petition packets must be filed with the school district clerk by Monday at 5 p.m.
