OSSINING, N.Y. – An 18-year-old campaigning for a spot on the Ossining Town Board has been accused of fraud, News 12 reports.

Aaron Spring, running as a Republican, has been taken off the ticket due to the allegations, the story said.

The accusation stems from Spring allegedly collecting campaign signatures when he was 17, the News 12 story said..

Despite his insistence that his mother was present when collecting signatures, Spring was removed from the Republican ticket, the story said.
