The internships are unpaid and open to high school and college students who are looking for workplace experiences.
They can expect to develop skills that can be applied in the "real world," said the announcement.
The interns will gain experience working within their local communities and throughout New York State.
These opportunities will provide a learning opportunity to students interested in the operations of government.
