A Yorktown woman appeared at police headquarters on Tuesday to report two of her disability checks were forged and deposited into her account without her permission, police said

Police investigated and determined Jesse Suggs forged the checks and he turned himself into police on Thursday. He is being held pending arraignment.

In 2012, Suggs was one of three men charged with raping two 16-year-olds. In March, he was arrested for possessing heroin in the K-Mart parking lot.
