The arrests came about when New York State Police received a report of a disabled vehicle northbound at mile post marker 9.4 on the parkway around 2:53 a.m., according to officials.

Upon the officers’ arrival, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, identified as Lucio Manuel Medina-Lozano of Elmsford, made a right turn off of the roadway in an attempt to make a U-turn, and his vehicle became disabled on a dirt-covered area of the shoulder, police report.

Medina-Lozano, who was allegedly intoxicated, then called his wife, Patricia F. Tenezaca, to assist him, according to officials.

Tenezaca arrived at the scene with their 2-year-old-daughter in her vehicle; Tenezaca was also intoxicated, police report.

Like her husband’s vehicle, Tenezaca’s vehicle became disabled on the dirt-covered area of the northbound shoulder, according to officials.

With both vehicles stuck, Medina-Lozano called a friend, identified as Fernando Francisco Guaillas-Gonzales, to further assist him, police report.

Guaillas-Gonzales also arrived at the scene while intoxicated, according to officials.

After helping the motorists and completing their investigation, the troopers arrested all three drivers, police report.

The suspects were taken to State Police Hawthorne and processed, according to officials.

Tenezaca’s daughter was released to her sister, police report.

The suspects each provided breath samples: Medina-Lozano had a BAC of .13 percent, Guaillas-Gonzales’ was .08 percent and Tenezaca’s was .18 percent, authorities said.

Medina-Lozano and Guaillas-Gonzales were charged with DWI, issued traffic tickets and released, police report.

They are due back in the Town of Greenburgh Court on Tuesday, Sept. 13, according to officials.

Tenezaca has been charged with felony aggravated DWI and endangering the welfare of a child, police report.

After her arraignment in the Town of Greenburgh Court, she was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or $10,000 bond, according to officials.

An order of protection was issued on behalf of her daughter, and Chid Protective Services was notified of the incident, police report.
