OSSINING, N.Y. ‒ The owner of Ecuaventas Discount Store reported Sunday morning that his business at 22 Croton Ave. had been burglarized, Ossining Police said.

Police say an investigation "discovered that a person had entered the store by climbing through a rear window of the building and then used a drop ceiling to enter the offices of (Equaventas)," according to a press release.

Ossining Detective Donald Farrell later discovered two cell phones "that were taken in the course of the crime." They were found at the rear of the building near the point of entry. Detectives say they are reviewing the owner's video surveillance system.
