CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Troopers from the Cortlandt barracks found an abandoned cat Thursday at the Cortlandt Train Station and are asking for the public's help to find its home.

The senior female cat is black, tan, and brown. She was left on the train platform in a tan Woolrich carry case, said Trooper Melissa McMorris, spokeswoman for the New York State Police.

Anyone with information is asked to call 914-769-2600 and request to speak with a Trooper at the Cortlandt barracks.
