Peekskill Woman Charged In Theft From Jefferson Valley Mall In Yorktown

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have arrested a 59-year-old resident of Peekskill on a larceny charge after an incident at Sears in the Jefferson Valley Mall.

Police were dispatched to the store, 600 Lee Blvd., following a report of a shoplifter in custody at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, according to officials.

An investigation conducted at the scene revealed Fabiola Josefina Rodriguez allegedly stole a dress and four jewelry items valued at $134, police said.

Rodriguez was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, according to officials.

She was released on her own recognizance, police said. She is scheduled to appear Tuesday, July 26, in Yorktown Justice Court, according to officials.
