State police in Hawthorne arrested 37-year-old Wilmar A. Ospina on June 8 at approximately 2:25 a.m. and charged him with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies.

Police received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle driving north on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Mount Pleasant, police said. Officers found Ospina driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked New York State non-driver identification, according to the report.  His license was revoked from a previous DWI, police said.

Ospina’s breath sample registered 0.15 percent blood alcohol content and police held him for arraignment at the Town of Mount Pleasant Court.
