Ossining Man Charged With DWI In Yorktown

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Robin Hawkey, a 42-year-old Ossining resident, was charged on Friday with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of .18 percent or greater, both unclassified misdemeanors, according to Yorktown police.

Police said they received a report of a vehicle being operated erratically on Kitchawan Road. An officer responded to investigate the complaint and the reporting party informed the officer that the vehicle was located at 1311 Kitchawan Road. The operator and the vehicle were located in the driveway of the residence.

Hawkey was arrested at the scene and transported to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. Hawkey was issued traffic tickets released without bail to a friend. Hawkey is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, May 26, at 6 p.m.
