Firefighters responded to 311 Locust Road at about 4 a.m. Saturday morning, according to Mike Garcia, first assistant chief. It took firefighters about four hours to put out the blaze, and they were assisted by firefighters in Ossining, Croton and Millwood, Garcia said.

No one lives at the home,  which is currently for sale, Garcia said.

The Westchester County Police Department's Daisy the Arson Detection Dog, the Westchester County Cause And Origin Team and detectives from the Briarcliff Police Department were also at the scene investigating the fire, Garcia said.

There were no injuries.
