Louis Fusilli is due back in court Tuesday in LaGrange to answer to the misdemeanor charge, police said. His breath sample showed a blood alcohol content of 0.19 percent, more than two times the legal limit, police said.

State police from Poughkeepsie responded to the Dutchess County 911 call Wednesday of a wrong-way driver on the Taconic State Parkway near Route 44. After checking the parkway from Pleasant Valley to LaGrange, police found the car that matched the description given by the 911 caller, police said.

Police investigation confirmed that the man's Nissan Sentra had been traveling south in the northbound lanes, police said. Officers also noticed that the driver appeared intoxicated, police said.
