LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- A Southeast resident is facing drug charges after Lewisboro and Westchester County Police reportedly found him in possession of 130 bags of heroin on Friday, Nov. 14, police officials said.

The arrest of Michael Hall, 26, was the result of an ongoing investigation into narcotics activity occurring in South Salem since October, police said.

The 130 bags of heroin Hall allegedly possessed each had a street value of $10 to $20 per bag, police said.

Information about the arrest was withheld in an effort to protect aspects of an ongoing investigation into heroin sales in Northern Westchester County, police said.

“The county police Narcotics Unit continues to work with multiple police departments around northern Westchester to combat the distribution and sale of heroin in our communities,” Commissioner George N. Longworth of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety said in a statement.

Hall was arraigned and bail was set at $100,000, police said.
