The crash happened at the intersection of Yorktown Road (Route 129) and Short Hill Road near the New Croton Reservoir.

Dispatched to the scene were members of the Croton Fire Department, Croton Emergency Medical Services, and the Ossining Paramedic Fly Car.

The Croton Fire Department’s Chemical Engine Co. No. 1 (Engine 118) used its recently purchased battery-operated “Jaws of Life” to free one of the victims from the wreckage.

They removed the driver’s side door so medical crews could treat the injured person.

Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, fire officials said.
