CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- A driver in Croton-on-Hudson received quite the scare Tuesday afternoon when his car crashed into the side of a building at the corner of South Riverside Avenue and Wayne Street.

Photo Credit: ContributedThe driver was pulling into a parking lot when the car accelerated. The driver said he stood on the brakes, but the car would not stop, according to an EMT at the scene. The driver refused medical attention.
