To the editor:
I am writing to endorse Karen D’Attore for the Ossining Town Council in this year’s election Nov. 3.
While I have had the privilege to know Karen for seven years, I had known about her for many years prior. Her reputation precedes her!
Karen D’Attore has a vision for what she wants to see in this community. She understands that the community is stronger when everyone has the opportunity to participate and do well.
She embraces and understands the diversity of Ossining as a community asset. Karen is a strategic thinker, who has heart and years of experience working internationally.
She has brought her business and fiscal experience home to her work with IFCA, and before that with Open Door.
As a mom who raised two kids in the Ossining schools, she knows what’s important to the people who live here -- how much they can or are willing to stretch.
Karen loves living in Ossining. I believe she is willing to work hard to make it even better than it already is.
