Letter to the Editor:

Dana Levenberg will be an outstanding Supervisor for the Town of Ossining, and I wholeheartedly endorse her for this important government position.

I have known and worked with Dana for many years, first having met her when she was starting the Ossining Mico Fund.

She really cares deeply about helping people with revolving financial loans to get them through difficult life problems. What a caring project Dana initiated that is going strong today, 10 years later, and providing so much help to those in need. I always have felt that serving on a school board was the most difficult position there is in public service, and Dana was a star on our Ossining School Board for nine years helping to form the best policies to educate our children.

My constituents and I have been fortunate to have Dana serving as my chief of staff of my Assembly office in Ossining for nine years. She works so hard to assist my constituents in every way possible and has the persistence to make government work well for people in the area. She also represents me in regional activities and on economic development committees, where she has gained friends and important contacts throughout the Hudson Valley. These not only help with activities in my office, but also will help when she's in the position of Ossining Town Supervisor.

Dana is dedicated, knowledgeable, energetic, a go-getter, a hard worker and a person that never gives up until the job is done. I will vote for Dana Levenberg with great enthusiasm knowing that my loss of Dana in my district office will be balanced by the Town of Ossining’s gain.

Sincerely,

Sandy Galef, NYS Assemblywoman, 95th AD
